In the U.S., facial spider veins are treated with lasers. The tiny, thin, red spider veins that can crop up along the side of the nose, cheeks, chin, and nostrils can be treated with lasers in the 532 to 940 nm wavelength range. The larger blue veins that develop around the eye sockets, temples, and the side of the forehead are best treated with a 1064 nm laser.
